Welcome to the Biponik merchant handbook. From your first sign-up to running the store day to day, products, orders, payments, design and growth tools, the whole guide is in one place. It's all written with store owners in mind.
Store admin (at your store's address), products, orders, design and all the day-to-day work.
Getting started
Launch checklist
Run through this list once before you tell everyone about your store:
- Open a merchant account and activate a plan (free or paid).
- Enter the store admin and set the store name from System → Settings.
- Add at least one product with images, price and stock.
- Set up Payment (bKash, SSLCommerz and/or COD), then place a test order to check.
- Set a Shipping rate for your delivery area.
- Pick a theme and upload your logo in Design → Header.
- Check the store on both mobile and desktop, then share the link.
Opening a merchant account
- Go to the Open an account page. Enter a name, email and a strong password.
- After registering, sign in from Merchant login.
- Compare plans on the Pricing page. Take Free to start with no money, or a paid plan for higher limits and modules.
- Finish the subscribe checkout on a paid plan (bKash or SSLCommerz). If you have a promo or referral code, enter it on the subscribe screen.
- Once the plan is active, go to the merchant dashboard, your store is created automatically.
Getting into the store admin
Press Open store admin from the merchant dashboard, you're signed in securely, with no need to enter a password again.
The store admin runs at your store's address. You start with a subdomain (like yourbrand.biponik.bd) and can add your own domain later from settings.
Admin login link for your team
The merchant dashboard has a direct admin login link with a secret part in it (like /myshop24/login). Give it only to trusted staff.
- To create the link the first time, type any part you like and press Create admin login URL.
- If the link leaks, type
REGENERATEto confirm, optionally give a new part, and save, old bookmarks stop working immediately.
Viewing your live store
Press the View storefront button in the merchant dashboard, or the external-link icon at the top of the store admin sidebar. Always take a look at the live site after changing a product, theme or checkout.
Merchant portal
The merchant portal is on the main Biponik website. Account-related work happens here, not editing products or processing orders.
Navigation bar
While signed in, the merchant toolbar shows Dashboard, Affiliate and Pricing, along with your name and sign out.
What the dashboard shows
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| Store hero card | Store name, live link, status, current plan, renewal countdown. |
| Open store admin | Secure one-click entry to the store backend (when the store is active). |
| Renew / change plan | Opens the subscribe flow for the current or another plan. |
| Quick actions | Shortcuts to admin, billing, pricing and storefront. |
| Plans grid | All plans side by side, upgrade, switch or renew from any card. |
| Support tickets | Open and view tickets when a store is attached. |
Running more than one store
One account can hold several stores. In the portal, Add a new Store creates another one, and All Stores lists them with a one-click way into each admin.
- Each store is separate: its own products, orders, customers, domain, theme and staff.
- Each store has its own subscription and is renewed on its own, so two stores means two renewals.
- Stock can be shared across them with connected inventory if you sell the same items in more than one.
Team access
Share a store with someone who has their own Biponik account, instead of handing over your password. In the portal, Team Access.
- Invite by email and pick which of your stores they may open. They sign in as themselves and reach only what you shared.
- What they can do inside a store is still set by their staff role in that store's admin.
- The person you invited sees those stores under Shared Stores in their own portal.
- Remove access at any time from the same page; nothing they created is deleted.
Subscription & billing
Paid plans can have monthly or yearly billing. Every store has its own subscription, so if you run more than one store you renew each one separately.
- Open Pricing (or Renew on a store) and press Choose on a plan. The Monthly / Yearly switch at the top shows both prices and how much yearly saves.
- Billing period, pick Monthly or Yearly. The yearly tile shows what it works out to per month.
- Payment method, choose bKash or Card, bank or wallet (SSLCommerz: Visa, Mastercard, Nagad and more).
- Have a code? Open Have a promo or referral code?, type it and press Apply. A discount code shows what it saves; a referral code from another merchant is linked to your account. Press Remove to take a code off.
- Check the order summary on the right (below the steps on a phone): package price, discount and Total due today. The pay button names the amount and method, like "Pay ৳1,999.00 with bKash".
- After payment you're brought back to the merchant panel, and the store's new end date shows on Billing. If you renew early, the time left on your current plan is kept and the new period is added on top.
Billing page: Billing in the merchant panel shows every store's plan at a glance: status (Active, Renews soon, Expired), a bar for how much of the term is used, the renewal date, time left and what the next renewal will cost (including any promo you're on), with Renew and Change plan buttons. Below that is your full payment history: date, store, plan, monthly or yearly, method, amount and status.
On the free plan just press Activate free plan, no payment needed. The subscription term still applies per the plan's rules.
Rules for refunding subscription fees are in our refund policy (within 7 days where applicable).
Affiliate program
If your account has affiliate access:
- Copy your referral code and a pricing link with
?ref=from the Affiliate page. - Earnings are shown as pending, withdrawable, withdrawal-in-progress and total paid.
- Before requesting a withdrawal, save your bKash number and account name in payout settings.
- There's a minimum withdrawal amount; while a request is in progress that amount is held.
Store admin overview
The store admin is your control room. Work is split in the left sidebar, click a section name to open its sub-menu, and the browser remembers which ones you left open.
Sidebar map
| Section | What's inside | Typically used for |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | Sales summary, recent orders | A glance at the start of the day |
| Orders | Order list and details | Delivery and status updates |
| Abandoned Cart | Incomplete checkouts | Recovering lost sales |
| POS | Direct-sale checkout | Selling on a phone or at the store counter |
| Catalog | Products, categories, brands, inventory, warehouses, profit | Organizing stock and products |
| Biponik Options | Coupons, shipping, payment, checkout, customers, reports, emails, modules, product import, reviews, settings | Store configuration |
| Modules | Enabled add-ons (couriers, pixel, etc.) | Feature-based setup |
| Content | Pages, media | Marketing pages and images |
| Design | Themes, navigation, header, footer, style | The store's look |
| System | Users, settings | Staff and store identity |
| Mobile App | App settings, widgets, merchant app | Mobile experience |
| Account | Subscription, support, sign out | Plan limits and help |
Staff roles
From System → Users, give team members the access they need:
- Admin, the whole menu: catalog, design, payment, modules, settings, everything.
- Store manager, a limited menu (usually orders and coupons). Good for packing staff or a marketing assistant, they can't reach payment secrets.
New-order badge
The Orders menu shows how many new orders arrived since you last opened the list. Once you open Orders your badge clears.
Store settings & identity
Everything about who your store is lives in Biponik Options → Settings (and System → Settings):
- Store name, shown in the browser tab, emails, invoices and the mobile app.
- Logo & favicon, upload from Design → Header; used in both the store and the app.
- Brand color, set in Design → Style options; it's the button accent on every theme and the app's main color.
- Contact details, phone, support email and social links, shown in the header/footer.
- Currency, Biponik is built for the Bangladeshi Taka (৳).
- Custom domain, add your own domain from settings; point DNS to the shown values, it can take up to 48 hours.
Managing staff (Users)
From System → Users you can create and control every login that can enter the store admin.
- Press Add User and choose the account type: Admin, Shop manager, Customer, or Reseller (when Reseller Center is on).
- Enter a name, email and password (at least 8 characters). Reseller accounts also need a business name and NID details.
- Save. Admin gets the whole menu; a shop manager gets a limited menu (usually orders and coupons).
- When someone leaves, edit their account and set it to Disabled, or delete it.
Products & catalog
Adding a product (step by step)
- Go to Catalog → Products → Add product.
- Name & description, write clearly; bullet the features customers care about.
- Images, use good-quality photos (front, close-up, in use). The first image usually becomes the thumbnail.
- Price, set the regular price. With the Sale Countdown module on, you can also schedule an offer price.
- Cost price, optional; if entered, profit shows up in reports.
- SKU / stock, track quantity, or keep it unlimited for digital products.
- Category & brand, assign them, they power store navigation and filters.
- SEO, add a separate meta title and description to look better in search.
- Save and take a look at the product on the live store.
Deleting a product (trash)
Deleting a product moves it to the Trash instead of destroying it. Open it from the Trash button at the top of the products list.
- Restore brings the product back exactly as it was, with its images, categories and stock.
- A trashed product disappears from your storefront, search and feeds straight away, so deleting is still safe to do in a hurry.
- Past orders keep their line items, so revenue and reports are not rewritten by a deletion.
- To remove one for good, delete it again from inside the Trash. That one cannot be undone.
Product landing pages
With the Product Landing Page module on, you can build a separate funnel link for any product, with a hero section, a benefits list and a direct order form. Great for Facebook/TikTok ads. When the module is on, it can be set right from the product edit screen.
Categories
Catalog → Categories builds your store's structure. You can show categories in the main menu and the homepage category grid. Add a menu icon too if your theme supports it.
Hide a category without deleting it
Some categories are only needed part of the year, or sit empty until new stock comes in. Instead of deleting them, switch Show to customers off. The category, its products and its settings stay exactly as they are; customers just can't see it until you switch it back on.
- From the list: each category has a Show to customers switch. Flip it and it saves straight away. To change many at once, tick them and press Show to customers or Hide from customers.
- Find them fast: the tabs All, Visible, Hidden and No products filter the list. The product count shows how many products each category has and how many of them are on sale.
- While editing: the same switch is on the category form.
- Hiding a category that has products on sale asks you to confirm first. The products themselves stay on sale and can still be found through search and other categories.
While a category is hidden it disappears everywhere customers look: menus and mega menus, the homepage category grid and sliders, product-section tabs, filters, breadcrumbs on product pages, the sitemap and the mobile app. Its subcategories are hidden with it. Anyone opening its old link is taken to the shop page instead of an error. In the admin it stays in every category picker, marked Hidden, so saving a product or menu never removes it by accident.
Brands
Catalog → Brands groups products by manufacturer or label. Useful for fashion, electronics or multi-brand stores.
Size charts
Catalog → Size Charts, build measurement tables for clothing, shoes or any size-based product. Customers see the right size on the product page, which cuts both wrong-size orders and returns.
- Build a chart, give it a name (like "Men's shirt", "Women's shoes"), columns (S, M, L / chest, length) and rows to make the measurement table. Use inches or centimetres, whichever you like.
- Add to a product, when editing a product, pick the matching size chart. One chart can be used on as many products as you like.
- On the storefront, when a chart is attached the product page shows a "Size chart" link/button; clicking it opens the measurement table in a popup.
Tip: keep a separate chart per category and also note briefly on the chart how to take the measurements, it builds customer confidence.
Inventory & warehouses
- Inventory, all stock at a glance; adjust here after counting stock or receiving new goods.
- Warehouses, separate stock locations if you run the business from several places.
When set up, stock decreases automatically with each order. During campaigns, keep a close eye on fast-selling items so you don't oversell stock.
Stock history
Every change to a product's stock is written down, so "where did those twenty pieces go?" has an answer. Open it from the product, or from Catalog → Stock history.
- Each line shows the stock before and after, why it changed (an order, a cancellation, a return, a manual edit, an import, a POS sale) and who did it.
- It covers manual edits and automatic movements alike, so a quiet mistake by a staff member and an oversell both leave a trail.
- Free on every plan.
Connected inventory
If you sell the same item in more than one of your stores, connected inventory keeps a single stock pool for it. Sell one anywhere and the count drops everywhere.
- Switch it on in the merchant portal → Connected Inventory, not in a single store's admin, because it spans the stores you own.
- Items are matched by SKU, so give the same product the same SKU in each store.
- It applies to simple products, not products with variants.
- Movements it causes are labelled Connected inventory in Stock history, so a drop you did not expect is traceable to the store that sold it.
Profit calculator
Catalog → Profit Calculator, gives an estimate of profit by subtracting cost price from selling price. Shipping and refunds aren't counted, it's just a quick check that your prices are right.
Product import
Under Biponik Options → Import, upload many products at once with a CSV file, no need to add them one by one:
- WooCommerce, Shopify or a plain CSV, wherever it comes from, bring the catalog into one place.
- Before importing thousands of SKUs, test with a small batch so any mistakes get caught.
- Match the column names to the template shown in the admin so each cell lands in the right place.
Orders & delivery
Order stages
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Order arrived; payment may be due (COD) or being verified | Check stock; call the customer if details are unclear |
| Processing | Payment confirmed; packing under way | Pack the goods; create a courier consignment |
| Hold | Deliberately paused | Resolve a fraud check or a customer request |
| Completed / Delivered | Delivery done | Archive it; ask for feedback if the review feature is on |
| Cancelled | The order won't go out | Return the stock if it was deducted |
| Refunded | The customer was refunded | Follow your own store's refund policy |
Delivering an order
- Open Orders and click the order number.
- Check the products, address and phone number. If the address looks incomplete, call the customer.
- See whether the payment status matches your rules (paid online or COD).
- If the module is on, print a Shipping Label or an Order Invoice.
- Book a courier right from the order page (Steadfast, Pathao or Carrybee, if set up).
- Set the status to processing, and to completed or delivered when the parcel changes hands.
Where the order came from
Each order records the approximate location the customer ordered from, taken at checkout. You will find it on the order page, with a small map you can open.
- It shows the city or area and, where known, a point on the map.
- It is useful as a sanity check against the delivery address: an order placed far from where it is being shipped is worth a confirmation call before you dispatch it.
- It is approximate, from the network connection, not GPS. Treat it as a hint, never as proof, and never refuse an order on it alone.
POS orders
With POS you can create orders right from the admin sidebar: search a product, add to cart, take the money, print a receipt. Stock updates just like an online order. If it's on your plan, enable POS from Biponik Options → Modules.
Selecting an existing customer fills in their name, phone and address automatically (from a saved address, or their previous order's address if none is saved).
Connecting a real POS machine / hardware
Biponik's POS is a browser-based (cloud) POS, no separate software or drivers to install. Open POS in the device's browser and connect the hardware to the device.
- POS terminal: any Android POS terminal, Windows POS/tablet or laptop works. Sign in to the store admin, open POS and add it to the home screen / bookmark it.
- Barcode scanner: a USB or Bluetooth scanner works like a keyboard. Put the cursor in the search box and scan, if the SKU matches exactly the product is added straight to the cart (scan-to-add).
- Receipt printer (thermal 58mm/80mm): turn on "Print receipt after sale" below checkout and pick the printer width (80mm or 58mm). When a sale finishes the receipt goes straight to the print dialog, as long as the printer is installed on the computer/device. To reprint any order's receipt, open that sale in POS and print.
- Cash drawer: usually connects to the receipt printer and pops open on the printer's signal during printing, it works as long as receipt printing is on.
- Card / mobile payment machine: a card machine or bKash merchant machine runs separately, take the payment there and just select the payment method (Cash/bKash/COD) in POS.
The shop name, phone, address and footer text on the receipt come from the Order Invoice module settings, set once and it's used on both receipts and invoices.
Abandoned cart
When on, Abandoned Cart shows who started checkout but didn't pay. Follow up politely with the contact details (where given), don't pester.
Customer refunds (your store's)
Refunds between you and your customer are your responsibility. Write a clear return policy on your store's page. Biponik subscription refunds are a separate matter, see the refund policy.
Payments & checkout
Payment gateways
The payment page is now arranged in three tabs: Payment Options (currency and turning each method on/off), Gateways (config for the enabled methods), and Discounts (method-based discounts). Only the config panel and discount box for the method you enable are shown.
| Type | Method | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic aggregator (card + all wallets together) | SSLCommerz | The customer goes to the gateway page and pays by card/mobile banking; the order is marked Paid automatically. You need API credentials from the provider. |
| aamarPay | ||
| ShurjoPay | ||
| PayStation | ||
| Pathao Pay | ||
| EPS | ||
| API wallet | bKash API | Automatic payment using a merchant/business account API. |
| Nagad API | ||
| Rocket API | ||
| Manual mobile payment (personal number, no API) | bKash / Nagad / Rocket personal | The customer sends money to your number and gives a TrxID; you verify it from the order and mark it Paid. For those without a business account. |
| Upay personal / agent | ||
| Tap (TAP) | ||
| OK Wallet personal / merchant | ||
| Bangla QR | ||
| Bank transfer | ||
| Cash on delivery | COD | Money on receipt, Pending when the order arrives, settled after delivery. |
| International (USD) | PayPal · Stripe · Paddle | For USD-only stores. Config can be added; live charging coming soon. |
Enter the credentials exactly as the provider gave them. After saving, place a real or sandbox test order on each method you enable.
How to set up manual mobile payment
- Enable the method from the Payment Options tab (e.g. bKash personal).
- In the Gateways tab, enter your number, type (personal/agent), instructions (Send Money / Payment / Cash Out) and a note. For Bangla QR upload your QR image; for bank transfer enter the account number and put the bank/branch/name in the note.
- At checkout the customer picks that method, sees your number and sends money, then places the order with the TrxID (and optionally their own number). The order stays Pending.
- On the order page you match the TrxID and press "Verify & mark as paid" to mark the order Paid.
Partial / advance payment
With the Partial / Advance Payment module on, on a cash on delivery (COD) order the customer pays some money online in advance and the rest in cash on delivery. This greatly reduces the risk of fake and cancelled orders.
Enable the module from Modules → Partial / Advance Payment and set the advance rule in settings:
- Delivery charge only, advance = delivery cost; the product price stays COD.
- Fixed amount, a set advance on each COD order (e.g. ৳200).
- Percentage, a share of the total (e.g. 30% / 50%) in advance.
- Minimum advance (optional), like "delivery charge, but at least ৳100".
Requiring the advance (two modes): the settings "Require the advance to place a COD order" toggle decides how the advance appears,
- Toggle on (required): the advance is required with COD, the customer can't place a COD order without it. Choosing COD shows the advance part.
- Toggle off (optional): normal cash on delivery stays separate (full amount on delivery), and "Order with advance" shows at checkout as a separate payment option, the advance is only needed if the customer chooses it.
How the advance is taken: the advance and the balance are shown separately ("Pay ৳X now · Pay ৳Y on delivery"). Then the customer pays the advance with a method you've enabled, Automatic on bKash / Nagad / SSLCommerz (charging only the advance), or by sending money to a personal number / Bangla QR and giving a TrxID (Manual). You can also choose in settings which methods can take the advance.
Editing the checkout text: from the "Checkout text" part of settings you can write the option's title and short description in your own words (leave blank to show the default text).
The order page, invoice and label show the advance paid and the COD balance separately. Only the balance goes to the courier (Steadfast / Carrybee / Pathao) as COD, not the full price.
Currency & selling in USD
Set the store's base currency from Payment Options → Base currency. The default is BDT (৳); you can also use USD ($). Changing the currency shows that currency's symbol and format across the whole store, admin panel and storefront.
Dual currency (BDT + USD): to sell in two currencies in the same store, turn on the "Also sell in USD" toggle. Then,
- Each product needs a separate USD price (in the product form). Products with no USD price are hidden while browsing in dollars.
- A currency switcher appears in the storefront header; the customer can choose BDT/USD.
- Checkout shows methods based on the order's currency, local methods for a BDT order, PayPal/Stripe/Paddle for a USD order. The order is saved and shown in the currency it was placed in (in the customer account, invoice and emails).
For a single-currency store (BDT only or USD only) there's nothing extra to do, all prices show in that currency.
Checkout editor
Control the checkout form with Biponik Options → Checkout Editor:
- Which fields are required and which optional (name, phone, address, email).
- Field labels and placeholders, in Bengali or English.
- Trust badges and helper text beside the pay button.
Keep the form as short as possible on mobile, most customers buy from a phone.
Coupons
Create codes from Biponik Options → Coupons:
- Percentage or fixed-amount discount.
- Minimum order, per-customer usage limit, expiry.
- Limited to specific products or categories where supported.
Checkout settings
Extra toggles (guest checkout, order note, phone validation) are in Biponik Options → Settings and the checkout panels. Take a look after switching themes.
Shipping & couriers
Shipping rates
Biponik Options → Shipping decides how delivery cost is calculated:
- One rate nationwide, or different by city.
- Free delivery over a certain purchase amount.
- Different rates inside and outside Dhaka (the most common).
Write on the product or checkout page how long delivery takes, "where is my order?" calls will drop a lot.
Courier modules
Enable couriers from Biponik Options → Modules, then put the API key on each one's settings page:
| Courier | What it does |
|---|---|
| Steadfast | Create a consignment from the order page and sync tracking |
| Pathao | Parcel booking and status updates on Pathao |
| Carrybee | Create and sync a Carrybee consignment |
After booking, sync or paste the tracking ID, and let the customer know if SMS or email is on.
Shipping labels
The Shipping Label module prints a courier label with a barcode, in standard label sizes (4×6 in and others), great for stores packing many parcels a day. The footer note can be changed from the module settings.
Design & storefront
Themes
Design → Themes, preview the layouts (like Volt-, Studio- or Aura-style stores). Activating a theme changes the store's look instantly, the content stays as it was.
Header, footer & navigation
Under Design you decide how the store looks and how customers move around:
- Navigation, the main menu links, dropdowns and mega menus (detailed below).
- Header, logo, search bar, cart icon, announcement strip.
- Footer, link columns, contact, social icons, payment badges.
- Style options, colors, typography, button roundness, whatever the theme offers.
Footer logo size
Every template has a Logo width control in Design → Footer, with a separate size for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile (in pixels, up to 600). A wide logo can be big on a computer and smaller on a phone.
- Leave a box empty (Auto) to keep the template's own size.
- An empty Tablet box follows Desktop, and an empty Mobile box follows Tablet, so often you only need to fill Desktop and Mobile.
- The logo never grows wider than the screen, and its height adjusts to keep its shape.
Navigation menu
Open Design → Navigation to arrange the header's main menu. The same menu works on every theme (Aura, Bazaar, Console, Volt, Studio). Saving stores it on the active theme and keeps it in sync, links don't get lost when you switch themes.
Menu types
Each top-level item can be one of three types:
| Type | When it's good |
|---|---|
| Single link | One destination with no submenu (like Home, Contact). |
| Dropdown | A few small links under one name (like Shop → Men, Women, Kids). |
| Mega menu | A wide multi-column panel, optionally with a promo banner (like a full shop menu of categories with a sale image). |
Dropdown menus
- Add or edit a top-level item and set Menu style to Dropdown.
- Add the child links under Submenu. Drag to arrange.
- Press Save navigation.
On desktop the panel opens when you hover over the parent; move onto the submenu and click a link. On mobile tapping the parent opens/closes it (accordion). Every theme shows an arrow on dropdowns, like the mega menu.
Mega menu
When you need several groups of links in one panel, the mega menu is best, like shop columns by category, with a sale banner beside them.
Columns
- Set Menu style to Mega menu.
- Open Columns and press + Add column (or Add first column if empty).
- Name each column (like Shop, Sale, Help).
- Add links to each column. Columns and links can be dragged to arrange.
Up to 4 columns, with 12 links per column. In the admin each column has a number badge, so the order is clear at a glance.
Featured promo (optional)
To add an eye-catching call to action beside the columns, open Promo banner (optional):
- Banner image, upload it, pick from the media library, or paste a link.
- Banner link, where the button goes when clicked.
- Title, subtitle, button text, sit over the image. The dark overlay only appears when a title is set.
- Drag the Promo banner block above or below Columns, this decides whether the promo sits to the left or right of the link grid.
Full-width panel
Ticking Full width panel makes the mega menu stretch edge to edge on desktop. The content inside stays centered (up to ~1280px). Without the tick the panel sits in the middle (~920px wide).
What happens on mobile
| Where | What happens |
|---|---|
| Header burger menu | Tap the parent → columns and links open in an accordion. |
| Mobile app bar → Menu | The same links, with column headings, in a native accordion. |
| Studio theme drawer | An accordion with column groups inside the slide-out menu. |
When you switch themes
Your navigation isn't lost when you switch themes:
- Each save is stored on the active theme and in a shared menu store.
- When activating a new theme, if that theme has no menu, links are copied from the previous theme or the shared menu.
- If Design → Navigation looks empty after a theme switch, don't panic, the shared menu is there; one save puts it on the new theme.
To start completely fresh, use Reset on the Navigation page, all themes' custom menus are cleared.
Navigation checklist
- Top-level names are clear and match the catalog.
- Every mega-menu column has at least one link.
- The promo has a title set if you want the overlay.
- Save navigation after each edit.
- Check desktop hover and mobile accordion on the live store.
Header & footer details
- Header, upload the logo and favicon; arrange search, cart and the announcement bar.
- Footer, edit link columns, the contact block, social icons and payment badges.
- Footer payment image, in Design → Footer you can upload your own payment-methods image (bKash, Nagad, cards, etc.); it shows in the footer on every theme, and falls back to default icons if you don't upload one.
Header Builder
Build your own storefront header instead of using your template's. Paid plans only. Open it from Design → Header, the card at the top of the page.
- A header is made of rows and columns. Drag pieces into a column, the logo, search box, menu, categories menu, account, wishlist, cart, a support phone, social links, text, a button, scrolling text, an offer dropdown or a spacer.
- Each row and each column can take its own background colour, so a dark top bar above a white main header is a two-minute job.
- Desktop and mobile are separate layouts. Phone visitors can get a compact header with just a burger, logo and cart, without touching the desktop one.
- Start from a ready-made preset and adjust, rather than from an empty grid.
While a header is saved it replaces your template's everywhere, and the Design → Header card shows In use. Remove it in the builder and your template's own header comes straight back, nothing is lost.
Footer Builder
The same canvas for the footer, from Design → Footer. Paid plans only.
- Drag in link columns, an about block, the newsletter form, contact details, social icons, the payment image, a "get the app" block, custom HTML or a spacer.
- Each row has its own background, with a live preview underneath as you build.
- It opens showing your current footer, not a blank grid, so you are editing what you already have. Nothing changes on the storefront until you save.
Store colours & typography
Design → Style is where your store's look is set, grouped into tabs so you can find one thing without scrolling past fifty pickers.
- Primary colour, your main brand colour, used for buttons, links and highlights. Secondary colour, a second brand colour for accents and hover states.
- Separate colours for text, headings, muted text, borders, prices, sale badges, out-of-stock labels and review stars, plus button and button-hover colours set on their own.
- Page and footer backgrounds can be a flat colour, a gradient or a picture with an optional darkening wash.
- Typography, pick heading and body fonts separately, with sizes and weights.
- Preset swatches taken from every template, one click to preview a whole palette.
Homepage & pages (page builder)
Content → Pages, build landing pages by stacking blocks, like:
- Hero banner and promo rows
- Featured products, category grid, new arrivals
- Countdown sale, CTA strip, video
- Weekly deal tabs and offer banner groups
Drag blocks in, arrange each panel, preview before publishing. If you want your own landing instead of the default catalog home, set it as the homepage in page settings.
Media manager
Content → Media Manager, a central library of images. Upload once, reuse across products, pages and banners. Use compressed JPG/WebP for fast loading on mobile.
Customers & marketing
Customer accounts
Biponik Options → Customers, a list of customers registered on your store. Take a look at their order history before replying to a support message.
Product reviews
Enable and moderate reviews from Biponik Options → Product reviews. Approve genuine feedback; remove anything spammy or offensive as soon as you see it.
Email notifications
Biponik Options → Emails, turn on/off and edit the templates for order confirmations, status changes and account emails. Send a test to your own email after editing.
Meta Pixel & conversion tracking
Enable the Meta Pixel + CAPI module and enter the Pixel ID in settings. Events (view, add to cart, purchase) go to Meta and optimize your ads. Cookie consent on the store is your responsibility, our cookie policy only covers our own website's cookies.
Ad product feed
The Product Feed module builds an XML/CSV feed link for Facebook/Google catalog ads. Copy the secure feed link from the module settings and add it in ads manager.
Live sales notifications
Social-proof popups ("Someone in Dhaka just ordered…"), real orders, a curated list, or a mix, all set in the module settings. Use it honestly, fake names destroy trust.
Promo popup
Show a nice popup on the store with Modules → Promo Popup, an offer, coupon code or any announcement. Like WordPress, you can build more than one popup and turn each on or off separately. A customer sees at most one popup per page, the first one from the top of the list that matches.
- Design, heading, text, image, button and a tap-to-copy coupon chip. Colors, gradients, radius, all your own.
- Style, center, bottom or top bar, corner card, side drawer or full screen, six looks.
- When to show, after a few seconds, on a certain scroll, or on exit intent. You can also set how often and on which pages it shows.
- Schedule, set start and end times to turn an offer popup on and off by itself.
- In the app too, turning on "Show in Android customer app" in a popup's settings shows it in your branded customer app.
Reseller Center
Let approved users register as resellers, with commission or reseller pricing. Set the rules in Modules → Reseller Center.
SMS notifications
Biponik can send the customer an SMS at every order step, and keep accounts secure with one-time codes. SMS runs on a built-in gateway and a simple credit balance, 1 credit = 1 SMS. Buy credit in packs; each message uses one credit. Everything is in Biponik Options → Settings → SMS.
How it works
- Turn on the main switch. Open Settings → SMS and turn on "Enable SMS for this store". Nothing goes out unless this is on.
- Check you have credit. The balance shows at the top of the SMS panel. If it's zero, buy a pack (below).
- Decide which events send an SMS. Each notification has its own switch and an editable message, turn on the ones you want.
- Done. When the event happens (order arrives, shipped, delivered…) the customer gets an SMS and one credit is used. If the gateway rejects a message, the credit is refunded automatically.
Notifications you can turn on
Each can be turned on/off separately, and the default message can be customized:
- Order Received, as soon as a COD order comes in.
- Order Confirmed, when the order is set to processing.
- Order Shipped, when marked shipped.
- Delivered, when delivered.
- Order Cancelled, when the order is cancelled.
- Payment Received, when an online payment succeeds or you mark it paid.
- Return Notification, when an order is marked returned.
- Review Request, a follow-up after delivery asking for feedback.
- OTP Verification, the one-time code for phone sign-up/login (when phone OTP is on).
- Password Reset, confirmation when a customer resets their password.
- Account Created, a welcome message on registration.
- Pre-order Received, sent instead of Order Received when the order is a pre-order, with the expected ship date (needs the Product Pre-order module).
- Pre-order Arrived, when the stock for a pre-order arrives and the order is released for shipping (needs the Product Pre-order module).
Customize the messages
You can put placeholders in each message box, they fill in automatically when the SMS is sent. Tap the chip under the box to insert them:
{store}, the store name{order_number}, the order number{total}and{currency}, the order amount{code}, the OTP code (in verification messages){name}, the customer's name (in account messages){release_date}, the expected ship date (in the Pre-order Received message)
Under each box a live counter shows how many characters and how many SMS it will cost. Keeping a message to one segment uses one credit, 160 characters in English, about 70 in Bengali/Unicode (the counter warns you if you go over).
Buying credit
In Settings → SMS → Buy credits, pick a pack and pay by bKash or SSLCommerz (if enabled), or request a manual bank transfer. With an online payment, credit is added instantly; with a manual transfer, after verification. Common packs:
| Pack | Credits (SMS) | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 100 | ৳45 |
| Growth | 500 | ৳210 |
| Scale | 1,000 | ৳400 |
Phone OTP login & registration
When enabled in Settings → SMS, customers can sign up and sign in with a one-time SMS code instead of (or alongside) a password, and registration can be phone-first (email optional). Turning these on makes them work automatically in the customer mobile app too. For security the OTP code is rate-limited and expires in 5 minutes.
Good to know
- SMS runs on a built-in gateway, no SMS API of your own needed; you just need credit.
- For order alerts you need both the main switch on and the specific event enabled; OTP works whenever phone OTP is on.
- Only customers with a correct mobile number on the order or account get messages.
- Delivery depends on the mobile operator, "sent" means it was handed to the network.

Abandoned Cart recovery
Holds on to people who reached checkout but didn't finish paying, so you can win the sale back.
- What it keeps: the customer's name/phone (if given at checkout), what was in the cart, and the abandoned amount.
- Where to see it: Biponik Options → Abandoned Cart, with a list of how long ago and how much.
- How to recover: call or message, offer a coupon if you like. If SMS is on, you can follow up by text too.
- Good habit: reach out within a few hours, old carts come back less often. Instead of a big discount, offer free delivery or a small discount.
Courier booking, Steadfast, Pathao & Carrybee
Send parcels to a courier and track delivery right from the order page, no separate courier dashboard needed.
One-time setup
- Open Biponik Options → Modules and enable the courier you use.
- On the courier's settings page, enter the API credentials from their merchant panel (Steadfast: API and Secret key; Pathao: client ID/secret, username, password, store ID; Carrybee: client ID/secret/context and store ID).
- Before booking a real parcel, press Test connection to check the keys work.
- Set the defaults (delivery type, weight, and fallback city/zone for Pathao/Carrybee) to reduce clicks when booking.
Booking a parcel
- Open the order, go to the Courier card, check the COD amount and press Send to [courier].
- The consignment ID comes back and is saved on the order.
- Press Refresh any time to pull the latest delivery status.
Tracking & auto-complete
- The order page shows a Tracking Timeline, a milestone stepper (Placed → In Transit → Out for Delivery → Delivered) and a dated update log. The customer sees the same tracker on their own order page.
- Turning on "Auto-complete order when the courier marks it Delivered" in the courier settings marks the order Delivered by itself when the courier says Delivered (COD orders are marked Paid too). It syncs twice a day.
- The Sync Courier & Mark Delivered button on the order list checks all courier orders at once; each order page has one too.
Shipping labels
A small shipping sticker for parcels, with the recipient's name, phone, address, order number and a product summary.
- Enable the module and press Label on any order for a print-ready label. Use Bulk Print to put many on one A4 sheet.
- Print on a label printer or plain paper; fold and stick it on the parcel.
- Perfect for stores packing many COD orders a day.
Order Invoice (PDF)
A branded A4 invoice for any order.
- With the module on, a Print Invoice button appears on the order page, a clean PDF/print view with the logo, store info, product list, total and payment status.
- Send it to a customer who wants a receipt, or keep it for your records.
Product Insights
A sales history for one product, on an Insights button next to it in the products list. Paid plans only.
- Demand over time, how many sold and when, so a slow month is visible rather than suspected.
- Stock runway, roughly how long the stock on hand lasts at the current rate, which is when to reorder.
- Cancel rate for that product, useful for spotting an item that gets ordered and refused.
- The buyers and every order it appeared in.
Header Builder
Your own storefront header instead of your template's, built by dragging rows, columns and pieces. Opened from the card on Design → Header. Paid plans only. See Header Builder under Design.
Footer Builder
The same canvas for the footer, opened from the card on Design → Footer. Paid plans only. See Footer Builder under Design.
Product Landing Page
Turn any product into a focused one-page ad funnel, ideal for Facebook/TikTok campaigns.
- Enable the module and build the product's landing page in the product editor (title, benefits, gallery and order form).
- Each landing page has its own link, send ads straight there; the customer can order without browsing the rest of the store.
- Use it with Meta Pixel, the ad platform learns who buys.
Product Customizer
Customers can build their own design and order right on the product page, for t-shirts, mugs, frames, phone cases or any printable product. A live preview shows how the design will look, and when an order comes in you get a print-ready file.
Setting it up on a product
- Enable Product Customizer from Biponik Options → Modules.
- In the product editor open the Product Customizer card at the bottom (closed by default) and turn on Enable customization.
- Add print sides (like Front, Back); for each, upload a clear mockup image and drag the box to choose the print area. Without a mockup, the product's main image is used.
- Decide what the customer can do, text (number of lines, font, color), upload their own image/logo, and preset options (like color or size, optionally with an added price, e.g.
Gold (+50)).
The customer experience
- A live preview on the product page, typing text, picking font/color, dragging and resizing an image, all right before their eyes. There are 14 fonts and a custom color picker; with multiple sides they switch with Front/Back tabs.
- Preset add-on prices are added to the cart automatically; each distinct design is a separate cart line.
- Save designs: a logged-in customer can save their design and re-add it to the cart in one click later from "Saved designs" in their account.
Print files
- When an order comes in, the server builds a print-ready composite (high-resolution PNG) for each side, with the customer's text, fonts and images in the right place. It's made in the background, so the store doesn't slow down.
- The order page shows each side's design details and a Download button, to print directly or send to a press.
Loyalty & Store Credit
Reward returning customers, give points on each order, which they redeem at checkout as store credit for a discount. Plus a store-credit wallet (for refunds or manual grants).
Setting the rules
- Enable Loyalty & Store Credit from Biponik Options → Modules, then open the module page.
- Decide: points per ৳100, the value of 1 point (৳), the minimum points to redeem, the max % of an order that points+credit can discount, a sign-up bonus, and when points are awarded (usually on Delivered).
- Optionally give/reduce points or credit for a customer manually (find them by phone or email), for goodwill or a refund.
How it works
- Earning: when an order reaches the set status (like Delivered) the customer earns points automatically (on the paid amount, minus the redeemed part, so there's no loop).
- Redeeming: a logged-in customer can apply store credit and redeem points at checkout, credit first, then points, up to the max % you set. The total updates by itself.
- Balance: the customer sees points, store credit and the full history in the "Use your rewards" tab of their account. Redemption works at checkout in the customer mobile app too.
Bundles & Upsells
"Frequently bought together", sell several products together at a special price. The bundle shows on each of its products' pages, adds everything to the cart in one click, and is an easy way to raise average order value.
Building a bundle
- Enable Bundles & Upsells from Biponik Options → Modules and open the module page.
- In New bundle give a name, choose the discount type (percentage or fixed ৳), and add at least 2 products (with quantity each). In v1 only simple products (no variants) can go in a bundle.
- Keep it Active. In the list each bundle card is collapsed, click the header to open and edit.
What the customer sees
- On any of the bundle's product pages, a "Frequently bought together" section, product images, the old price struck through, the new price, how much they save, and add all to cart in one click.
- The discount is split proportionally across the lines, so the cart total and the price shown on the page always match. If a product is out of stock, the bundle isn't added (not partially).
- There's also a separate Deals & Bundles page (
/deals), all active bundles and all products on offer in one place, with "see more". Link it in the menu if you like.
WhatsApp Notifications
Send order status updates (confirmed, shipped, delivered) to the customer's WhatsApp, where customers spend the most time in Bangladesh. It uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API.
One-time setup
- Enable WhatsApp Notifications from Biponik Options → Modules and open the module page.
- Create a WhatsApp Business Cloud API app at developers.facebook.com and add your WhatsApp Business number; copy the Phone number ID and a permanent Access token from there and enter them on the page.
- In WhatsApp Manager, create and get approval for a template for each event, with body variables
{{1}}= order number,{{2}}= order total. Enter the approved template's name on the page. - Match the language code (like
en,bn) to the template. Test with Send test to your own number.
After that, the message goes out by itself when an order reaches the set status (in the background, so the server doesn't slow down). It works just like SMS, only on WhatsApp.
Size Guide
Build a measurement table for clothing or shoes and attach it to products. Customers see the right size on the product page, which cuts both wrong-size orders and returns. This is now a module, so those who don't need it can keep it off.
- Enable Size Guide from Biponik Options → Modules, the Size Charts menu in the sidebar and the size-guide option in the product editor only appear then.
- Build one or more charts (columns + rows), then choose which chart shows in the product editor, one chart can be used on as many products as you like.
- On the product page the customer clicks "Size guide" to see the chart in a popup. When the module is off, nothing shows on the storefront.
Sale Countdown pricing
A live countdown beside the sale price creates urgency.
- Set an offer price and an end time on the product; the store shows the struck-through old price, the offer price and a running timer.
- A full-store countdown banner for the home screen can be enabled in Mobile App / App settings.
- When time runs out, the price returns to normal automatically.
Meta Pixel & Conversions API
Track store events for Facebook/Instagram ads, with a server-side backup for accuracy.
- Open Biponik Options → Meta Pixel → Connection tab.
- Enter the Meta Pixel ID from Meta Events Manager (the number under your dataset/pixel name).
- For server-side tracking, paste a Conversions API access token (Events Manager → your pixel → Settings → Conversions API → Generate access token) and tick Enable server-side Conversions API (CAPI). The token is stored encrypted and never shown again. Events then also go from the server, recovering conversions lost to ad-blockers and iPhone privacy settings.
- In the Events tab choose which ones go: PageView, ViewContent, ViewCategory, Search, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, AddPaymentInfo, AddToWishlist, CompleteRegistration and Purchase.
- Save, then test it with the steps below.
Already load your Meta Pixel through Google Tag Manager or custom code? Tick My Meta Pixel is already installed through Google Tag Manager / custom code. We then stop loading a second copy (the usual cause of doubled Purchase counts) but keep the server events, and put meta_event_id in the dataLayer: map it to your GTM Meta tag's Event ID field so Meta can pair browser and server events.
Test that your pixel and server events work
Browser and server send each event with the same event ID, so Meta counts it once even when both arrive. Test both sides:
- Browser pixel: install the Meta Pixel Helper extension in Chrome and open your store. It should show one pixel with your ID and a green PageView. Open a product and you should also see ViewContent. Two different pixel IDs on the page usually mean a second copy is loaded by GTM or custom code; see the tick box above.
- Server events, test mode: in Events Manager open your pixel → Test events and copy the test code (like
TEST12345). Paste it into Test event code on the Connection tab and save. Browse the store in a normal window: open a product, add to cart, go to checkout. Within about 30 seconds the events appear in Test events, marked Server (and Browser when you use Meta's "Test browser events" link), with a Deduplicated note when both arrived. - Test a Purchase: with the test code still saved, place a real test order (Cash on Delivery is fine) and open the order confirmation page. Purchase should appear with the right value and currency. Cancel the test order afterwards.
- Quick server check without browsing: the Diagnostics tab has Send test event. It needs a saved test code; the result appears in Test events.
- Remove the test code when you're done. While a code is set, server events go to Test events only and don't count in your ads reporting. To protect you, a saved code stops being used automatically after 7 days, and the Diagnostics tab tells you when it has expired.
Reading the delivery log (Diagnostics tab): each server event shows its time, name, event ID, HTTP status and a detail. Live, delivered to Meta means the event reached your real reporting. Delivered to Test Events means a test code was active. A failed row explains the reason, like a wrong or expired access token or a pixel the token can't reach, and can be retried. Meta's own Overview and Event Match Quality scores can take a few hours to update after the first events.
GA4 & Google Tag Manager
Google tracking can be enabled on the same Meta Pixel → Connection tab:
- Enable GA4 measurement, enter the GA4 Measurement ID (format
G-XXXXXXXX, found in Google Analytics → Admin → Data streams). eCommerce events (view item, add to cart, begin checkout, purchase) go automatically. - Enable Google Tag Manager, enter the GTM Container ID (format
GTM-XXXXXXX). Use GTM if you want to manage many tags in one place. - After saving, the page runs a storefront check to see whether the tag is really on the live homepage. Google's reports can take 24–48 hours; use GA4 → Realtime to see it right away.
Mobile App Bar
An app-like bottom navigation bar on phones (home, category, cart, account), with no app to install.
- Enable it in Biponik Options → Mobile App Bar and choose which shortcuts appear.
- Colors: pick the bar, text, active-tab and badge colors on the same page. On templates with their own palette, like Shuddo, the bar matches the template automatically (following your Design → Style colors) until you pick your own.
- On Shuddo, turning the bar on also replaces the template's green menu bar on phones, so there's only one navigation bar at the bottom.
- Regular mobile customers reach the pages they need faster, which lifts conversion on phones.
Live Sales Notifications
A small popup like "Someone in Dhaka just bought…", it builds both trust and urgency.
- Enable it in Biponik Options → Live Sales; choose the position, how often it shows, and whether it's real orders or a curated list.
- Don't show it too often, so it feels real, not annoying.
Promo Popup
A popup you design to highlight an offer, coupon or announcement. You can build more than one and keep them separate, and choose which is active in one click.
- Building: go to Modules → Promo Popup and press Add popup. A new popup starts off; design it first, then press Activate when ready.
- Editor: four tabs, Content (text, image, button, coupon), Layout (six styles and sizes), Design (colors, gradient, radius), Behavior (when and how often, which pages, which devices, schedule). A live preview shows on the right.
- Multiple popups: a customer never sees more than one popup on a page, the first one from the top of the list that matches shows. So you can build separate popups for different pages, devices or dates.
- Showing in the app: turning on "Show in Android customer app" in a popup's Behavior tab shows it in your customer app too.
- Good habit: don't keep too many popups active at once, and set "how often" properly, the same popup again and again annoys customers.
Ad Product Feed
Builds a feed you can import into Facebook Catalog and Google Merchant Center, for dynamic product ads.
- Enable Biponik Options → Product Feed; copy the generated feed link (XML/CSV).
- Add it as a scheduled feed in Meta Commerce Manager or Google Merchant Center, when the catalog changes, the feed changes too.
POS (Point of Sale)
Sell in person, and have it recorded in the same books as your online orders.
- Open POS from the sidebar, add products to the cart, take the money (cash/bKash/card), finish the sale.
- Stock and reports update along with online orders, so the numbers stay right on both channels.
Reseller Center
Run a reseller/wholesale program with special pricing and an approval process.
- Enable Biponik Options → Reseller Center to take and review reseller applications (approve, hold or reject).
- Set a reseller price per product (per variant too); approved resellers see their own prices when signed in, on the web and in the mobile app.
- Reseller orders are flagged separately in the order list, so you can handle them first if you like.
Book Selling
Turns your store into a bookshop. Any product can be marked as a book, with the extra details readers look for and a "read a few pages" preview.
- Book details: author(s), publisher, ISBN, pages, language, edition and publication year, filled right on the product editor once you tick "This is a book".
- Physical & eBook: sell a printed book, an eBook, or both. eBooks are delivered to the buyer after purchase and watermarked to their own copy.
- "একটু পড়ে দেখুন" preview: upload a short sample PDF that opens in a popup reader so shoppers can read a few pages before buying. Optionally watermark the preview and the eBook (upload your own watermark image).
- Authors & publisher: authors get their own profile and a page listing all their books; the publisher is simply the product's Brand.
- Where to set it: Biponik Options → Book Selling (add authors and watermark/preview options), then mark the product as a book. Paid plans only.
Product Pre-order
Sell a product before the stock arrives. Customers order now, you see exactly how much demand there is, and when the stock lands the waiting orders are released for shipping, oldest first. It works on every template and on paid plans.
- Enable Product Pre-order in Biponik Options → Modules.
- Open a product and switch on Sell as a pre-order. Set the Release / expected ship date, an optional Pre-order limit (how many units can wait at once), what the Customer pays and an optional Note for customers. Anything you leave on "Store default" follows the module settings.
- Save. The product page now shows a Pre-order button, a badge, the expected date and (if on) a live countdown. Product cards show the badge too.
How customers pay
- Advance deposit now, rest on delivery, a % of the price or a fixed amount per item is paid online, the rest is Cash on Delivery. The delivery charge is never part of the advance.
- Full payment online, the whole order is paid with your online gateways or manual payment methods.
- Cash on delivery, nothing is paid now. A store with only Cash on Delivery takes pre-orders as COD.
A pre-order is checked out on its own: if the cart already has regular products, the customer is asked to check those out or clear them first (and the other way round). This keeps shipping dates and payments clear for both orders.
When pre-orders are taken
- Only while out of stock, the product switches back to normal selling as soon as it has stock (the default).
- Until the release date, pre-orders close on the release date.
- Until I turn it off, pre-orders stay open until you switch them off.
When the Pre-order limit is reached, the product shows as sold out until stock arrives or orders are cancelled.
Managing waiting orders
- Modules → Product Pre-order shows Demand by product (units waiting, what's covered by stock) and Orders waiting for stock, where you can release an order by hand.
- Pre-order units are taken from stock when ordered, so a product's stock can go below zero: that number is how many units you owe. When you add the new stock, Release orders automatically moves covered orders to ready-to-ship every 15 minutes, oldest first.
- In the order list, filter by Pre-order. A waiting order shows a banner, and booking a courier is blocked until it's released so nothing ships before the stock exists. Moving the order to ready to ship, shipped or delivered releases it.
- Customers get a Pre-order Received SMS with the expected date and a Pre-order Arrived SMS and email when it's released. Turn each on or off in the module settings and edit the SMS text under Settings → SMS.
Store defaults (same page) set the default payment, deposit, when pre-orders close, the countdown, and the storefront wording: Button label, Buy now label, Badge and Release date text. Leave the wording empty to follow the storefront language.
Partial / Advance Payment
Cut fake and cancelled COD orders by asking for a small advance online, with the rest paid in cash on delivery.
- Advance rule: Delivery charge only (the customer pays just the shipping online), Fixed amount, or Percentage of order. Add a Minimum advance if you like, e.g. "delivery charge, but at least ৳100".
- Require the advance to place a COD order: when on, plain full-COD orders are no longer possible; paying the advance unlocks Cash on Delivery for the rest.
- Accepted advance methods: choose which of your payment methods can collect the advance, and write the option title and short description customers see at checkout.
- The order shows what was paid in advance and what is still due on delivery. The Product Pre-order module uses the same advance flow for pre-order deposits.
Barcode & QR Labels
Print a price label for every product and variant, like a super shop. Each label carries a QR code and a barcode. Customers scan the QR with their phone camera to open the product on your store, and your team scans the same label in the POS or the merchant app to see the price and stock and add it to the cart. Paid plans only.
- Enable Barcode & QR Labels in Biponik Options → Modules. Every product and every variant gets its own short code (for example
A7K3M9). The code never changes, so a label printed today still works after you change the price. - Open Modules → Barcode & QR Labels, choose your Label size (the size of the roll in your printer) and what to show: store name, variant, price, regular price, barcode and the code text. The preview shows exactly what prints.
- Add products to the Print queue by searching, or tick products on the Products page and choose Print labels. You can also click Print labels on a product's edit page. Set how many labels each (Labels = stock prints one per unit in stock) and click Print labels.
What the label shows
- Name, variant and price. When the item is on sale, the sale price is printed with the regular price struck through.
- Reseller prices are never printed. Your team sees them when scanning in the merchant app.
- The barcode (for counter scanner guns) prints on labels 45 × 28 mm or larger. Smaller labels carry the QR code only.
Scanning
- Customers: any phone camera opens the product page with the right variant already selected.
- Web POS: scan with a USB or Bluetooth scanner gun and the item is added to the cart. For a product with variants, the POS asks which one. It works when the search box is focused and when nothing is focused.
- Merchant app: scan with the phone camera to check the price, sale price, reseller price and stock, or to add items to the POS cart.
- Manufacturer barcodes: if a product already has a barcode (ISBN, UPC or EAN), type or scan it into the product's Barcode field (each variant has its own in the Variants table). Scanning it then finds the product, even without printing a label. SKUs scan too.
Blog
A built-in blog for content marketing and search-engine traffic, no separate website needed.
- Posts & categories: write posts with a rich editor, a cover image, categories and their own SEO title/description.
- On your store: a Blog link appears on the storefront and each post gets a clean, shareable URL.
- Where to set it: Biponik Options → Blog. Paid plans only.
EMI / Installments
Shows bank credit-card EMI (monthly installment) options on your products, the "EMI from ৳X/mo" line plus a plan calculator, the way large electronics shops do.
- Display only: it shows the installment plans to build buyer confidence; the actual EMI is arranged by the customer's own bank/card.
- On the product page: an "EMI from ৳X/mo" badge opens a modal listing each bank's tenures and the monthly amount.
- Where to set it: Biponik Options → EMI, add the banks, tenures and interest rates. Paid plans only.
Dispatch scanner & log
Catch double-dispatched parcels at courier handover and process returns, using the mobile app's barcode scanner together with the Shipping Label (which prints a barcode of the courier parcel ID).
- Scan to ship: in the merchant app, scan each parcel's label barcode as it's handed to the courier, it marks the order Shipped and warns if a parcel is scanned twice (a likely double parcel).
- Returns: re-scan a parcel that came back to mark it Returned, stock is restored automatically, with one-tap Undo.
- Works offline: keep scanning with no signal; scans sync when you're back online.
- Dispatch Log (web): on paid plans, Orders → Dispatch Log shows every scan with a date filter and CSV export.
SMS notifications
Send order status (confirmed, shipped, delivered) to the customer's phone by text.
- Enable it in Biponik Options → SMS and set up the sender/templates. Buy SMS credit as needed; each message uses credit.
- Great for COD stores, customers want the SMS updates. Keeping messages short uses less credit.
Biponik AI
Biponik AI is your store's own smart assistant, fully built in, with no external AI or third-party service needed, so there's no extra server load and your data stays with you. It works in two parts: a store chat assistant for customers and some admin AI tools for you. Enable it from Biponik Options → Biponik AI.
Store chat assistant (for customers)
A floating chat button appears in the corner of the storefront; when a customer asks a question the assistant answers instantly from your real products and information.
- Understands any language, Bengali, English and Banglish (Bengali in Roman letters, like "lal shari ache?"), all understood; even an English store can be searched in Bengali.
- Finds products, searches by name, category, color, size and price range; say "show more" for more products. It also pulls answers from product descriptions.
- Add to cart, products can be added to the cart straight from the chat.
- Answers common questions, delivery charge, payment, offers/coupons, order status, answered from your store's real info with no setup.
- Hands off to a human, gives your WhatsApp/phone/Facebook when needed.
- In the mobile app too, the same assistant works in the customer app.
Training it yourself
You can make the assistant smarter yourself, with no coding.
- Knowledge feed, add questions and answers in your own words (like "how much is delivery to Chattogram?"), the assistant answers from there.
- Inline Teach, look at customers' recent questions and write the answer directly; next time the assistant says it itself.
- Your own synonyms, teach the nicknames of your area/products (like "moshal = lighter"), so the product matches whatever word the customer searches.
- The last 200 (up to 2000 if you like) messages are kept as history; older ones are deleted automatically, so the database doesn't get heavy.
Admin AI tools (for you)
Some smart tools for running the business from the Biponik AI hub, all built in, light and fast.
- Biponik Genie, ask in plain language ("how much did I sell this month?", "what sells the most?") and get an instant answer.
- Restock Predictor, looks at your sales pace and tells you when each product will run out and which need restocking now.
- Customer Segments (RFM), groups each customer by recency, how often and how much they buy (Champions, Loyal, At-risk, etc.), with a list including phone numbers.
- Send SMS offers, pick a segment and send personalized SMS in one click (inserting the name, last product bought), and optionally create a discount coupon at the same time. Messages go out slowly in the background, so the server isn't stressed.
✨ AI Pro, even smarter (optional upgrade)
Certain plans include AI Pro. Then all the AI tools above answer in more natural, human-like conversational Bengali, using an advanced AI engine (like Claude or OpenAI) whose cost the platform covers. Stores without AI Pro keep the same built-in (free) AI, nothing is turned off.
- Natural-language answers, the chat and Biponik Genie answers aren't robotic, but friendly conversational Bengali.
- AI writer (AI Write), writes product descriptions, Facebook ads, SMS and email campaigns, review replies, all in seconds (Bengali/English/Banglish).
- AI Write in the product form, while adding/editing a product, generate the title and short and full descriptions directly with AI, SEO-friendly, well-organized descriptions (with where to use it, features and how-to-use).
- Monthly limit, a monthly usage limit can be set per store; over the limit it falls back to the free built-in AI by itself, nothing is turned off.
- Show/hide in the app, whether the chat assistant shows in the customer app can be turned on/off in settings.
Mobile app
If your plan includes mobile features:
- Mobile App → App Settings, the customer app's branding, color and behavior.
- App Widgets, the app home screen's sections (banners, product carousels).
- Merchant App (Android), run the store from your phone: a live dashboard (today's orders, sales & pending queue), manage and update orders with quick Confirm / Ship / Call actions, book couriers, the Dispatch scanner (scan parcels at handover, catch double parcels, mark returns; works offline), POS on eligible plans, real-time new-order push notifications, a home-screen widget and biometric lock. Download on Google Play.
- Promo popup in the app too, keeping a popup's "Show in Android customer app" on in the Promo Popup module shows it in the customer app.
And there's the Mobile App Bar, a native-style bottom navigation on the mobile site with no app to install.
Reports & account
Reports
Biponik Options → Reports, pick a date and see revenue, order count and best products. When you want to check the week's figures, everything is here; take a screenshot to keep if you like.
SMS credit
When SMS is on for the store, buy credit from the panel shown in the admin. Order updates or marketing you send, each message uses credit.
Subscription & limits
In Account → My subscription you'll see:
- The current plan name and renewal date
- The product and monthly order limits
- Which modules your plan includes
When you get close to the limit, upgrade from the merchant dashboard before a campaign starts.
Support tickets
Account → Support, open a ticket with screenshots and the order ID. Check for replies, an unread reply shows a badge in the menu.
Plans & fair use
Each plan has a maximum number of products, monthly orders and modules. The free tier is great for trying it out; as the business grows, upgrade before peak season.
- Compare on the Pricing page and the dashboard plan cards.
- Yearly billing lowers the per-month cost.
- Extremely heavy use (extreme traffic or automation) may be limited to keep performance right for everyone, see the terms.
Security & good habits
Two-factor sign-in
Add a second step to your login, so a stolen password is not enough on its own. Open the account menu at the top right of the store admin → My security.
- Scan the QR code with any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator). After that, signing in asks for the six-digit code the app shows.
- You are given recovery codes when you switch it on. Save them somewhere other than your phone, they are how you get back in if you lose the device.
- It is available for the merchant portal login and the store admin, and each staff member turns it on for their own account.
Everyday habits
- Keep separate, strong passwords for the merchant login and the store admin.
- If a login link is exposed anywhere, regenerate the admin path.
- When someone leaves, remove them from System → Users right away.
- Don't send payment gateway API keys over chat or email.
- Keep your browser and device updated; sign out on a shared computer when done.
- Keep copies of supplier invoices and important accounts offline too, so they're on hand when needed.
Support & troubleshooting
Problems that come up often
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Store admin won't open | Check the subscription is active in the merchant dashboard; clear the browser cache; try incognito. |
| Payment isn't going through at checkout | Check the gateway credentials; look for errors in the bKash/SSLCommerz merchant panel; test with a small amount. |
| Store shows "inactive" | Renew the plan or activate the free tier; wait a minute after payment. |
| Custom domain isn't working | The DNS A/CNAME record can take up to 48 hours to propagate; check with your registrar. |
| Images won't upload | Make the file smaller; use JPG/WebP; check for special characters in the file name. |
| Module isn't in the menu | Enable it in Biponik Options → Modules; check the module is on your plan. |
| Product/order limit reached | Upgrade from the dashboard before listing new SKUs or entering a sale season. |
